JEREMY STANFILL

Jeremy Stanfill, hailing from Memphis, Tennessee, is a multi-instrumentalist and dedicated songwriter whose musical journey began watching his father play drums. With a lifelong passion for music, Jeremy channels his rich experiences and emotions into heartfelt lyrics and melodies that deeply resonate with listeners. His career has been marked by both local acclaim and international tours, where his music, infused with passion, honest storytelling, intricate melodies, and creative recording techniques, captivates audiences worldwide. Jeremy’s path hasn’t been without challenges; he courageously battled alcoholism, achieving seven years of sobriety, and faced the profound loss of his mother—experiences that brought him to a personal crossroads. Despite these trials, Jeremy’s music remains a testament to resilience and hope, reflecting his unwavering curiosity about life and his profound connection to the vibrant energy of city streets. As a respected songwriter, Jeremy’s lyrics are poignant reflections of his journey, inviting listeners to join him on a heartfelt exploration through life’s highs and lows. He is set to release a new single titled “4403 (Time Machine)” on July 12th, promising a fresh chapter in his artistic journey.

JESSICA RAY

Jessica Ray has been singing and performing since the age of 13. From opening for major acts like Dru Hill to duets with Aaron Neville and collaborating with super producer Blac Elvis, she continually pushes herself to new heights while creating unforgettable experiences for her audiences, all while staying true to her authentic self. She holds a Master’s degree in Music Performance and Journalism from the University of Memphis. In 2017, Jessica signed with Made in Memphis Entertainment, releasing seven recordings in 2020, including a Spanish track. She also produced a virtual live concert, “RAW” (Real Artist Working), which she
transformed into a live performance on October 21st this year. Recently, Jessica starred in the musical “A Ferry Tale,” which debuted at the Orpheum Theatre in Memphis, TN. Jessica comes from a rich musical heritage. Her father, Ray Griffin, is a twice Grammy-nominated bass player known for hits like “Ring My Bell,” “Down Home Blues,” “Taxi,” and “Disco Duck.” Her uncle, Donald Brown, is a renowned jazz pianist who has played with Wynton Marsalis, Art Blakey, Mulgrew Miller, and Kenny Garrett, among others. Jessica is deeply committed to charity work, having created and performed at benefit concerts for The Baddour Center and The Exceptional Foundation, with proceeds supporting mentally challenged adults and adolescents. In addition to her own musical pursuits, Jessica is the Vocal Director at Stax Music Academy. She is dedicated to continuing her father’s legacy independently. Jessica is currently back in the studio creating new musical for upcoming release. Her latest releases, “Fingertips” and “Rome,” were produced by Grammy Award-winning producer Blac Elvis.

OAKWALKER

Oakwalker is an Alt-Americana acoustic duo from midtown Memphis, TN, playing with a full band for special performances. Oakwalker has been described as “Something thats one-of-a-kind, modernising Americana while not losing any of the elements that make the genre so enduring,” (Graeme Smith for York Calling, 2024). Victoria Dowdy, guitar and vocals, and Ethan Baker, violin, both write words/music and are multi-instrumentalists. Ethan is a sought after violinist for many different bands in town for recording and live performances. Victoria sometimes plays solo and has done background vocals and rhythm guitar for other local bands both live and in studio. Oakwalker has released several singles recorded at Young Ave Sound and at home during the pandemic, an EP recorded at Sun Studio, and just released an album called Tiger Sub Moon recorded at Sun Studio and at Winchester Recording.
